Short Personality Summary:
Lina Inverse is most likely the most powerful and feared black mage in all of her land--due to the fact that she's earned names like "Dragon Spooker," "Bandit Killer" and "Enemy of All Who Live." She's not too fond in being called those, but not like she can help it. She's one of the very few that have mastered a perfect Dragon Slave and Blast Bomb, was able to gain access and successfully cast a forbidden spell called the Ragna Blade, and accidentally tinkered with knowledge from a Claire Bible manuscript and created the mother of all black magic spells -- The Giga Slave.

Lina is a brash, impulsive, spontaneous, determined and optimistic young woman. She's sarcastic, temperamental, stubborn, extremely hostile, manupilative, greedy and a bit arrogant on the side. She's sassy, knows this, and flaunts every little exceedingly good characteristic she has. She also can be rude, has no table manners at all and if she wants to blow something up, she'll blow it up. Lina also has a tendency of not listening to others when she should. She's quite the tomboy and usually doesn't like wearing anything feminine, but there are exceptions.

However, she's pretty damn loyal to those she's closest too. Romance-wise, she can be very shy and becomes easily flustered, even though she likes teasing other people to the point where steam comes out of their ears from embarrassment. Just like every other girl her age, she's got her insecurities--she often gets the fact that she's short, flatchested, has no waistline whatsoever and looks more like a boy in puberty than a girl rubbed into her face, and becomes wildly defensive and violent when that subject comes up.

Lina really isn't that bad... err. Okay, maybe that's a lie.

Background:
Lina was born in Zephil, City; the capital of Zephilia. Her parents were an ex-mercenary and ex-sorceress whom now run a grocery store in Zephilia, and has a sister whom is two years older than her--The Ceiphied Knight--Luna Inverse.

Lina led a pretty cheerful childhood and was enrolled into the Sorcerer's Guild to practice basic magic.. mostly to get out of her sister's shadow. She graduated the Sorcerer's Guild at a pretty early age and earned the title of "Lina the Pink". For the record, she hates being called that. Since the Sorcerer's Guild only offers the most basic of magic learned, she pretty much had to research, be taught and teach herself the other spells she knows. Her sister is a pretty skilled swordswoman and most likely taught Lina how to use a sword.

At one point, Lina and Luna took a trip to the Kingdom of Dils, and Lina was lucky enough to hear some information from the Claire Bible. Not sure if the information was false or not from the manuscript, she messed with it anyway and the Giga Slave was born--the spell that can destroy the world itself--and tested it on a beach. That beach was turned into a Bay of Death and nothing grows there anymore.

Later on, Lina's parents were having economical issues and her sister decided to take on a job as a waitress. Lina, being the master business woman she is decided to make projections of her sister bathing for some extra cash. Her sister found out, was NOT happy, and Lina used the excuse that she wanted to see the world to flee Zephilia and earn quite the troublesome reputation.

Ever since then, she's met quite the traveling companions (like her permanent one--Gourry Gabriev), and has gotten herself in a lot of trouble with mazoku lords and dark lords without trying. She's an idiot magnet.. and she needs to find the switch which turns it the hell off!

Appearance:
Lina is in possession of orange, long, wavy hair and dark crimson and unusually voluminous and rounded eyes. She's got two moles underneath her bangs which are strangely perfectly aligned and holds the facial appearance of a little girl, and physique of a boy going into puberty... except she's a little more curvaceous than that. She's short for her age, has no waistline and compared to every other girl out there, she's extremely flatchested.

Her attire varies, but she wears gear that express her profession as a sorceress. Most of the items that stay constant are her large circular earrings and her black bandana.

Abilities & Weapons & Stuff:
Lina usually carries around a short-sword attached to her belt for her main physical weapon. She also has a deadly green slipper that's held captive within her pocket.

Her predominant choice of fighting style, however, is using magic. And she knows how to use it pretty goddamn well--she's a well-known genius when it comes to it and there is no doubt she is brilliant when it comes to it. She mostly focuses on Offensive Black Magic and Fire Shamanism, but has been proven to hold vast knowledge in a massive array of spells from other categories. She can cast spells ranging from a simple Fireball to a Dragon Slave, to a Ragna Blade, and to a Giga Slave. She also has a few custom spells which she has under her sleeve for special occasions.

Lina also knows how to speak and understand the Dragon and Goblin tongue. She learned it out of curiosity.
